I need some advice....Our engagement party is scheduled for May 23rd (Right outside the 8 week mark) Our venue is currently allowing us to postpone or wait it out and see what happens. They said as long as we fall under CDC guidelines for that time period, we can still have it. Right now it is just a waiting game since we don't know exactly how everything will be then. Our invites are here and were set to go out this week. I have decor, etc. with the date already. I am thinking of mailing out the invites with a note that says a possibility of postponing and have a strict rule that people should not come if they are sick in the slightest. (I am immunocompromised and so is the groom's father). I feel like postponing it would be too close to our wedding date in January. I just feel stuck and don't know how to best proceed.
My heart goes out to all the brides cancelling/postponing their wedding events!
