This raffle was at my bridal shower yesterday. I clearly stated in the invitation the raffle was to stock the bar for the wedding and not for our home those who did not want to participate did not have to. To enter the raffle they needed to bring a bottle of sangria (at first I listed a specific brand but it ended up being unavailable but that’s a different story). Sangria is roughly around $5-10 it’s an easy and convenient choice since it’s at most stores and inexpensive.
There were 2 raffle winners. The raffle prizes included an intricate Indian scarf, an Indian costume jewelry set (necklace and matching earrings), A mini hand Sanitizer and a $15 Starbucks gift card.
I was surprised and so grateful for everyone that brought wine. No one minded bringing it, and some people specifically told me that since it’s for the wedding they brought extra. It was a complete success.
