I don't think it has to be awkward at all - especially with such a small group! As @Caytlyn suggested, alcohol and good food always helps I'm actually having 11 girls at mine, some who know each other, some who know no one, but nobody knows everyone, so it should be an interesting/fun time!

I'd try to keep the convo flowing - like mention things they have in common and start from there. Good food, drinks, activities..

Yes haha. Just make sure to introduce everyone and tell them where you met each person. When people know how to place everyone it makes it easier to chat.

So I haven't been a part of a bridal party where I didn't know absolutely no one yet. But I went to my friend's bachelorette as an extra and I didn't know most of her bridesmaids. We went to a winery for dinner and then to a bar. It was so much fun and nothing was weird. All the girls were super nice and we had some fun bonding when we all piled into one car to go to the bar some of us sitting in the back on the floor haha. I never thought it was awkward. For events like this, girls are way more inclined to have fun and be friendly than standoffish! People will start asking questions here and there to get to know each other.
