Sites to register for gifts

Sarah, on December 24, 2019 at 12:09 AM Posted in Registry 0 5
Hi!
I am thinking for our gift registry to have a funds instead. We live together and do not any items. How should I direct our guests to gift to our fund instead? And is there a link or website I could direct them to instead of them bringing cash to the wedding?

If you don’t have any items in your home, then the answer is simple.... register for those things you don’t have.

You left the word out; lol do you need items or no?

You could just write “please no box gifts” . My friend used Lola for her wedding registry and had a link to their house down payment or honeymoon fund.

If you live together and dont need anything, then just dont register. People will gift cash.
We had a small registry set up for some upgrades or nice to have items for people who preferred to give physical gifts and still walked away with thousands in cash gifts. People know it's a good gift.

In addition to very small retail registries, we did Honeyfund. We linked Honeyfund to the retail registries so if guests asked if we were registered, we told them Honeyfund and they could decide from there what they wanted to do.
