Shower invites question

My bridesmaids and mom are throwing me a bridal shower next month. It’s not a surprise so my bridesmaids involve me in discussions of what I like, etc. My sister ordered invitations where we just fill the information in on each one. I am helping with the invites because my one bridesmaid lives farther away and another will be on vacation next week when we want to send them out. So I am going to help my maid of honor fill them in and address them this weekend. Anyways, we want to include that if someone is not a gift buyer, we would love gift cards to Lowe’s for our kitchen renovation. (We are registered at target and Walmart but don’t need a lot as we bought a house last year so the registry is pretty small in comparison to # of people invited.) my bridesmaid suggested we type up an insert stating about Lowe’s gifts are another option, as well as explaining the recipe cards we are including in the invite that we want guests to fill in with their favorite recipe and bring to the shower. I’m wondering how we should word both on the insert or if anyone has any fun and cute ways to word either one?
*obviously we don’t expect anything but I know most people know we already have the house and most of the basics and I’m sure everyone invited (family and close friends) will want to bring something.
