I was expecting it to happen, just not on the day it did. It was a Friday night at home. I went to take a shower and he went to go do dishes supposedly. So I come out of the shower I'm still half naked. I start painting my nails. And he walks in asking me to come out to look thru our bedroom window and I'm just like well I'm kinda busy can it wait? And he's like no no it can't really come on come on and I'm still half naked by the way. So I go look out the window and in our yard he has in candles and rose petals spelled out "I love you. Marry me?" And I immediately cry and he gets down in one knee and asks and I said "yes but I really wished youd have proposed to me when I had pants on" so he put the ring on me and then helped me into some pants. Welp I wish it was more romantic and that I had pants on ahahaha but hey that's my story

I surprised us both by asking with a sharpie Kris, Marry Me?" on the Pedro figure at South Of The Border on our way to Florida for vacation. We knew we wanted to get married but I just decided in that moment it was the moment. We spent the rest of our vacation proposing back and forth to each other. She even got down on one knee on the bridge by Hogwarts in Universal Studios. She met my parents a few days later and made my mom cry because I'm finally happy. It was a magical trip!

It was our second dating anniversary, and we decided to go to Diney World to celebrate it (we live in FL) and he lead me to the front of the castle where a Disney photographer was and I thought it was odd because we don't usually have our pictures taken from them and he started saying how much he loved me and how much I meant for him and he was in his knee and asked to merry him.
Funny thing that happened was thet the photographer put Muppets' frame on the picture. We were not happy, my fiance had to call to remove it.

My fiance had my ring for 3 weeks, unknown by me... and with a million different plans on how to propose.. but he knows that when he plans too much, it gets ruined. so the day that he proposed he came up with a plan. he emailed my good friend that works in the same network as me, got my supervisors email from her, and asked if he could come visit me at work (i've been working at this job for less than 2 weeks). my supervisor said sure! and let him into our office. he came around the corner with a bouquet of flowers and i yelled at him for a good 10 minutes asking why he was at my brand new job!? he started telling me how much he loved me and doesn't want to waste another minute without me being his wife. so he pulled out the ring and got down on one knee and proposed to me in my office of my 2 week old job Smiley smile

We had been dating for 5 years. We knew we were going to get married he just needed to make it official. Well my 12 year old son and 8 year old daughter decided with him on Christmas Eve to work on the proposal. I had to play dumb like nothing was happy for the sake of the kids. On Christmas morning after we opened gifts, they called me into the kitchen and said they made a “Christmas slide show” (My FH is a computer science professor). So the had me in the kitchen, my son is filming me on his IPad, my daughter is giggling and I am watching this beautiful slide show of pics of me and FH. At the end it had a picture of my ring and a note saying will you marry me? I turn around to him in tears and he is holding up the ring and asked me again. Although I knew about it, my emotions still took over. The kids were so happy and cheering and laughing. It was perfect!!!

FH came home from work at around 12:30 and asked if I wanted to take Scruffy for a walk. We took Scruffy to a park by our apartment and FH took me to my brother's memorial tree (my brother passed 3.5 years ago). Then he led me to a large tree nearby and popped the question. He said he wanted my brother to be the first in my family to know.

I left for a week long trip to Spain and returned on a Sunday night at 11pm. Sleeping in the next day, I went into work an hour later than I usually do. Around 3:30, FH began asking me if I wanted to leave early. I insisted on staying until 5 since we had got to work late that morning (we work at the same place and carpool) but he kept insisting. After about 45 minutes of begging, I finally gave in. He took me home and told me to change into something nice for dinner and that he needed to run to target. When he got back, he started driving to what I thought was a nice dinner. We arrived at a park known for a bridge with thousands of locks on it. He had brought along my Polaroid camera and said that he wanted us to take some pictures together before dinner. He lead me to the lock bridge and we started playing a game to see who could find the oldest lock. I remember him pulling out a lock from his pocket at some point in the game and asking me where I would like to put ours on the bridge. We scoped out the best spot and then locked our love onto the bridge. He took a Polaroid of our lock on the bridge with the others and then slipped it in his back pocket to develop. We kept walking around until he stopped to check to see if the picture was finished developing. FH made a comment about how it had turned out really well and then asked me if I wanted to see. I took the picture from his hand, but there were two Polaroids instead of one. I looked at the second and it was a picture of the ring in the box with the words "Will you marry me?" written on the bottom. I turned around and that’s where he was on one knee!
