The second piece of advice I suggest is look on Facebook for classic car clubs in the area. Where I used to live, the group had a Facebook page so other enthusiasts could keep track of their events and shows. Plus, they had contact information. It might be worth a Google search to see if anyone in the area has a vintage truck that you could borrow.
