I wore a semi-casual dress that I already owned for my rehearsal dinner.

Depends on where you're going and what you're having for the rehearsal dinner. Casual or semi casual, no need for fancy.

I agree it depends on where the dinner is. If it's a BBQ at someone's house, then casual attire is okay. If it's at a nice restaurant then maybe more business/cocktail attire would be appropriate.

I think it depends on where you're holding it. We had dinner catered for all of our guests at an outdoor music venue that is special to us. So, it was pretty casual. I still wore a cute, white sundress. But, everyone else was casual. It was the perfect rehearsal dinner for us.

Echoing the above posters about wearing whatever fits the vibe of where the dinner will be. We were at a nicer restaurant, so I wore a white midi sheath dress and heels.

In our families and social circles, rehearsals are casual. The couple may wear a nice tshirt and jeans. White attire for the bride is not done.

I wore a jumpsuit already in my closet, not white. Wear whatever makes you feel fantastic. And if it stresses you out to find something new or white or fancy, don't bother with it. No one will mistake you as a guest at your own party and there are no wrong choices.

I have not had my rehearsal dinner, but I'm probably going to go casual. Super fancy is unnecessary for a rehearsal dinner. I'm going to wear jeans and a cute blouse.
