Rehearsal Dinner

Hcook, on October 25, 2020 at 11:47 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 14

Ok ladies, need some ideas for rehearsal dinner ideas. We are planning to have it our house and not looking to spend alot of money. I thought of hamburger and hot dogs, because we are doing BBQ for the wedding, but fiancé was thinking something else but doesn't have a clue on what, lol.

You could also do pizza, tacos, sandwiches, chicken wings etc

My fiancé and I ordered chik-Fil-a nugget trays! My mum made Mac and cheese and we set out sodas and beer for the guests. Our backyard entertainment space is huge, and we wanted a relaxed vibe the night before the wedding. We had smore things set out too, and everybody loved just getting to relax.

You could do sandwiches from a local deli, or pizza, or a taco bar, or anything on the grill (chicken, hot dogs/hamburgers, steak, etc).

One of my good friends had a spaghetti dinner for her rehearsal dinner. It was low key and an easy meal to make for a bunch of people. We left STUFFED!

Pizza is a popular option for rehearsal dinners. Mexican is also a cheap option.

Keeping it simple and inexpensive is how they are usually. Every rehearsal dinner I have attended was pizza and sodas/beer.

An advantage of pizza or some of the other ready-to-serve options like pans of Mexican or Italian food are that they'll be less labor intensive than grilling burgers as guests are waiting to eat.

You can do a pasta bar for dirt cheap. It's also easy to have it prepped in advance if you want to do it yourself rather than getting it catered. I like the idea of burgers and dogs but it's a lot of work in the moment for the person who's working the grill.

I’d skip hot dogs and burgers since your reception food is already along that same line. Instead, I’d do pizza, pasta, salad and bread for an inexpensive rehearsal dinner.

I think your fiance is right just to change it up a little. I would go simple with pizza or maybe calzones.

Get it all delivered instead of trying to cook yourselves

Pizza is good, you can get party trays from walmart or Costco or shoprite. Walmart even sells fresh pizza you can just slip into the oven.
