Rehearsal Dinner

Anyone involved in the rehearsal and their significant other/ date should be invited to the rehearsal dinner, then immediate family members. If you have minor children involved (like a flower girl or ring bearer) then their parents should be invited as well. Some people will invite out of town guests, but that's only if you want to/ have the budget for it

Significant others are invited but random dates for singles are not. Siblings can be invited if they are not part of ceremony but you want to include them. It’s also customary to invite the officiant.



The new trend of inviting traveling guests is not financially feasible for everyone as they have to be fully hosted as well if they are invited.

Bridal party and parents are a must. If the bridal party has *significant others* then yes they should be invited. No plus ones (random date for if they are single) is not necessary as it should be understood that this is even more intimate than the wedding day. If you have siblings not in the wedding party, they should really still be invited to the Rehearsal Dinner.
We are having out of town close family and friends as well, but that’s because it was in my FH’s parents’ budget, and they’re planning (you’re lucky they are letting you plan hahaha). But the out of towners are not required really, so if that’s going beyond budget, don’t feel bad cutting them.

The rehearsal dinner is meant to thank the people who took their time to come rehearse and their significant others.

It doesn't have to be fancy, beer and pizza in someone's home is fine.
