Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal is typically at the venue, but the rehearsal dinner can be wherever you'd like. At the venue if they allow it, at a restaurant, a home.

I think it is typically at the venue but you can really have it wherever you want! My advice if you are NOT having it at the venue is to have it somewhere close by, for convenience. Our venue's prices for rehearsal dinner are absurdly high, so we are having ours at a local restaurant, about 15 minutes away from the venue.

I'm considering having mine close to the venue at a restaurant. We are doing a private event buffet that comes out to about $15 a person. It's only about 30 people so we decided to keep it small and casual as it could be the day before the wedding. I also didn't want to have the same food that we would be having at the wedding if we did it at the venue.

Usually the rehearsal is at the venue then the rehearsal dinner is somewhere else. Typically they are at restaurants in private spaces.
