Rehearsal Dinner Invites

Mandi, on July 30, 2019 at 11:22 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 13
Necessary or will word of mouth suffice?
It will only be the wedding party and parents. Like 40 people max for pizza and pasta. At the venue, immediately following the rehearsal.
Just looking for input.

We did evites for our rehearsal dinner invites. It was easy, and we had OOT guests too.

We did word of mouth followed up by an email to the wedding party and the VIPs. It was technically a welcome dinner since we invited whoever wanted to come so we included the details on our website.

We (well FIL) are doing invites w/ RSVP - but it is only because it’s a sit down dinner. We had a hard time finding a private room large enough to fit 40+ ppl with handicap access.
However, prior I’ve been invited to RD via only word of mouth & email.

Evites! Husband and I have travelled for quite a few weddings now, many of which he stood up in. I’d prefer we knew before we arrived if there will be a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. When traveling we like to make dinner reservations so it’s better to know if we should or shouldn’t have a reservation for the two of us if a rehearsal is in the works.

I would do word of mouth or a Facebook group message or event. My sister did the Facebook event for the bridal party and it worked really well.

We are doing work of mouth and email/text. I already sent an email with some basic info for everyone, and will send a reminder next week.

We're doing Evites as it is both a rehearsal/welcome dinner.

One of my bridesmaids did a Facebook group for her wedding rehearsal and it worked perfectly!

Word of mouth/facebook group. I am not collecting emails on top of everything else to do lol. I have never been given a physical invite for rehearsal dinners if that helps!
