Rehearsal Dinner Dessert

I was thinking of doing a cupcake tower for the rehearsal dinner. What are you all doing for RD dessert?

    Our RD is super casual because we need to set the venue up that night as well. So it's just pizza and salad...I might surprise FH with an ice cream cake for dessert because he really wanted that for the wedding and we couldn't make it happen.

    I don't think most people bring in a special dessert for a RD. I would assume if you're going to a restaurant, dessert would be choices the restaurant offers. Nothing wrong with a cupcake tower though - yum!

    We didn't have a rehearsal so no need for a dinner but we did host OOT guests (mostly family) and some local family at our home the night before. We're in NY and mostly everyone OOT was from Florida so we catered Kosher deli for dinner - big hit with this crowd. We decided to keep a NYC feel to the meal and had black and white cookies, babka and rugelach for dessert.

    We are getting the grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner. I believe our caterer is also bringing banana pudding.

    I think we'll be having a triple chocolate brownie with caramel drizzle, as it is part of the menu our venue offers. We're not doing anything special otherwise.
