I wanted to know is anybody doing monetary gifts. If so, do you k ow how to put that on the registry section of the wedding wore website. It seems to only allow you to add stores. We are not doing a registry for stores.

If you want cash, the best thing to do is to just not register. People will then default to cash. There are cash registries, but they all take a percentage of the money for processing fees and many people find them offensive.

Just don’t create a registry if you don’t need anything. When you don’t have one people will give you cash or gift cards

Don't register or simply use a registry that allows you to add the option of a "cash fund"

I’m doing an amazon registry, and have a few gift cards that I’ve put on there to go towards date nights and other experiences. So if people want to get us a gift card, it’s listed as an option on our registry.
If they are more traditional and want to buy us pots and pans, they also have that option 🤷🏻‍♀️
I know some people are more traditional and want to buy a physical gift, but most of my friends are in their early 20s, and I think gift cards/cash are generally more acceptable now.

    1. no registry at all. People will gift cash or check.
    2. Honeymoon fund, but guests will pay a processing fee or it will come out of the amount they give.

We are registered at Zola. This way our 'traditional' guests can purchase items for us while the 'modern' folks can gift cash.

The best part about Zola is that you can use the money any way you would like. An example, we just got a traditional gift but instead of having it shipped, we transferred this to Zola credit and put the money toward something we really wanted.

As far as the cash gifts, you can ask for cash or ask for adventures. We went the adventure route so people would feel as they helped up pay for activities during our honeymoon. Again, this doesn't have to be used for the adventure they purchased - the funds will go directly to your bank account and you can use it as you see fit.
