What are you all doing for your registry? We’re 64 days away now.. and I have my friends asking about a registry! We were thinking about a honeymoon fund but I think people would bring random gifts we don’t want anyways. I don’t even know how to register!

What are you all doing for your registry?

So we had a shower thrown for us. We registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Amazon, and Crate and Barrel, with BBB being our largest. We upgraded most of our kitchen stuff, and asked for some new towels and things like that. From Amazon and crate and Barrel we asked for new glasses and some fun stuff like card/board games because we like to host game nights, a baking decoration kit because I love to bake, and some fun recipe books!

If you are not having a shower, honeymoon fund is fine, just put the info on your website. If you still want to register I would do a small one, and pick a few things you want to upgrade. Maybe some new everyday dishes, or some small kitchen gadgets, or even some games or decor you've been eyeing but justbhavent bought yet. Popular places to register are BBB, Amazon. Crate and Barrel, pottery barn, macys, etc.

We are registered at Amazon and Bed Bath & Beyond. That way there is a physical store to shop from or online to meet guests preferences. We used BB&B for home items and upgrades like small appliances, linens, and towels. At Amazon we registered for camping and fishing gear and other hobby items that we enjoy together.

If you're having a shower, having a physical gift registry is pretty much a necessity. If not, I would simply skip the registry. Guests who want to buy an actual gift are going to buy an actual gift, honeyfund or not. I'm not a fan of honeyfunds because I don't find it necessary to pay a third party to collect cash gifts for you.

I did a Zola cash fund for honeymoon too. I did still get a couple of physical gifts anyway but mostly just cash.

We have a very small Walmart registry. I feel bad asking people for so much stuff, tbh
