Registry Question

Most gift gifts we got at our shower or were mailed to the house, we only had a few brought to the wedding.

We will not be having a shower so maybe that's why we haven't received anything thus far.

We didn't have a shower, but we've gotten 12 gifts so far. So far only one thing has been purchased but not send to us, and I'm hoping everyone else continues to send gifts directly to us instead of bringing them to the wedding so we don't have to worry about them getting back home haha

I have watched our registry since invitations went out for our October 12 event, and only 3 items have been purchased however, we intentionally created a small registry hoping it would guide people toward cash gifts. We also have a honeymoon fund so I think people got the hint.

I would like to think that means we'll each find plenty of cards in the box on the big day.

We received the most gifts the month of our wedding and the week or two prior to my shower. We had 3 gifts brought to the wedding, the rest were sent to our house. We got a lot of cash though and that was brought to the wedding in a card.

I had one registry gift bought before my shower, ppl gave me cash and gift cards at my shower and no one else has bought anything else yet

I had a weird experience. I didn't get any items from my registry at the bridal shower, only one card at the wedding, and the rest, except one, were also gifts that weren't on my registry. I was pretty bummed I barely got any cards. Not bummed about the money, just the sentimental value behind cards. I also am annoyed that I put so much effort into a registry for literally no reason.
