Registry dilemma.

So a family member purchased a very nice gift off our bed bath and beyond registry (6 different items) and sent it directly to my apartment. Well we got 4 of the gifts but not the other 2. Our shower invites have not even gone out yet so I was not even looking for packages, and I am super concerned that someone stole the 2 gifts. At my apartment it is not uncommon for that to happen, so I always need to know when I have a package coming and I always meet the ups person at the door. We called said person and they just confirmed they sent everything to that apartment.


Has anyone had this happen and has bed bath and beyond worked with them? I inquired with bed bath and beyond and am waiting to hear back but I will be in a panic until then.

    So I had this happen quite a bit and usually it was because the other things were shipped separately and came later.

    Does the tracking say it was delivered? If so, I would reach out to whoever the delivery carrier was (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).

    They actually got back to me already even though it said 5-7 days lol and they were extremely helpful. But your comment gave me peace of mind. It was our pots and pans set so I would’ve felt terrible for the family member if they got lost or stolen!

    I’m glad! Yeah we had a lot of people purchase multiple things and they always arrived at different times. And I know right now with covid shipping stuff is kind of a mess!

    This happened to us too, but with Crate and Barrel. We didn’t receive a notification of shipping or delivery, and when we finally went to check, the packages were gone. C&B kindly resent the two packages we were missing. Hopefully Bed Bath & Beyond will do the same for you!

    Is there somewhere else you could have them delivered that you feel would be safer? Family member’s house? In-laws? I believe there is an option to have gifts sent to a different address!
