Registry completion timeline

What do you mean completing, are you going to buy the rest of the stuff on your list?

I would wait more than a month to give people time to send a gift if they haven't already. Technically they have up to a year after the wedding.

If you are returning items for store credit obviously it would be a great chance to buy somethings off your registry. You could also complete sets of items you may have only gotten 1 or 2 of or get things that may get discontinued or put on clearance.

Most stores give you a discount on registry items for up to 6 months so that seems like a reasonable timeline. Ultimately I think stores leave your registry active for about a year.

Yes buy most of the items that we still want (and remove anything we decided we don’t want/need anymore). Bed, Bath and Beyond only gives us until the beginning of September to get our discount (pretty sure Amazon is about the same time).

Many people who weren’t able to attend sent gifts before, and only a few people attended and didn’t give a card/gift so I’m not really thinking many people will purchase gifts from our registry now?

Maybe I'm just thinking too much that everyone is like me and would send a gift before or right after, not months later :p

I would perhaps wait another couple of weeks before doing this. Since your wedding was only 4 weeks ago, you may have some guests who have not yet bought your gift from your registry. You still have 6 weeks before September starts so I would leave it perhaps another 2 or 3 weeks before proceeding.
