Registry (2nd marriage for both)

We've been together for 7 years. What's on your list?? We started a list on Amazon since most of our guests are out of state. We don't really feel comfortable with a honeyfund or asking for cash.

I just asked for household items. We really aren’t lacking much. So it’s just random stuff we wouldn’t normally buy like a popcorn maker etc. but I know well just end up getting cash.

Do you need nicer towel or sheet sets ? New plates or pots and pans ? Updated storage containers ? New bathroom set of curtains and rugs ? I'm I'm the same boat so I'm putting those things along with some outdoor items we need.

You can literally ask for anything! We already lived together before getting married and owned a home, so we had a lot already. We decided to register for upgrades of things we already had. We registered for new bedding, dishes, silverware, a Roomba (which we love!), towels, Pyrex, dish towels, mixer, etc. If it's available on Amazon, you can register for it!

We have a target registry and I put anything and everything I want to upgrade. That way even if no one uses our registry we get registry completion coupons for and I can buy it myself. We have kitchen things, bedding, towels, basic household tools that we either don't have or need replacements for.

Upgrades of household items! A nice pots & pans set, nice glassware, a robot vacuum, an espresso machine, etc. We were also upgrading and renovating our home so light fixtures, door knobs, rugs, etc. And a few random things like smart home accessories, a dog door, etc. We had around 80 items for my shower & the wedding (invited 225 guests to the wedding total and around 30 to my shower). It was a good amount to please the physical gift givers and the rest gifted cash.

Love this! If it's not too personal, what did you do with the stuff you already that got upgraded? Donation? Toss? Both? Something else? Want to make sure we're not just duplicating stuff.

Some stuff we kept and just have 2 of (items that we use a lot). But most items we donated to places like Goodwill.

He came into the relationship with what I call bachelor pad stuff. Cheapest stuff to get by. I have a lot from previous marriage. I donated a bunch of stuff. Looking at the responses I realize I still have bathroom accessories that I got from my first wedding. I am now going to be donating those. We have accumulated things throughout the years
