Here's the second part of the photos I posted yesterday.......Thought I'd post the rest of the photos I was willing to share before I start making the mom's photo albums for holiday presents! More ceremony, and some reception decor photos.
Since we got married on a Sunday morning, we wanted a brunch reception with great food and atmosphere. The restaurant is on the canal, and the room had a patio that opened up to the canal.
We wanted to keep our brunch reception very intimate, so I had a dear friend who is a professional photographer come take some shots of the decor for me before we all got there. We didn't want someone there with it being so small while we were trying to eat.
All of the tablescapes were designed by me, and I did all the DIY to make the table signs, paint the antlers, make the larger signs, etc. It was very simple but fit the setting....cheesecloth runners, gold tipped antlers, salt lamp candles, birchwood candles and eucalyptus garland. Everything blended with the invitation suite I made and with both event spaces! Favors were little gold bells that have a label which says "Ring the Bell for The Mr and Mrs to Give Each Other Kisses". (And who doesn't want to take a bell home to ring at their SO or Partner when they need something lol!).
We went with cupcakes instead of a traditional cake...4 flavors! Funfetti, Lemon, Vanilla and Chocolate, and my baker added in some of the antler toppers I found. They were topped with edible gold frosting and SO DELICIOUS!
The restaurant let us rent a private room with a mimosa station, and we ordered off of their regular brunch and lunch menus (their pesto bread while you wait for your meal is to die for)....due to COVID State Mandate we had to separate into 2 tables, but the room was small enough that it worked and nobody had to shout. It didn't matter how the tables were laid out, because the amount of love that was felt could have burst open the doors
!
I also made a custom wordfind for everyone to do while we waited for food and such.....like a puzzle in the Sunday paper...you know, Brunch! It contained words of meaning to the both of us.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
