Premarital Counseling

Amy, on January 23, 2026 at 1:35 PM Posted in Married Life 0 1

Hi! My fiance and I have had trouble getting along and I am having second thoughts because he's been super difficult since we have gotten engaged about a lot of things. I wonder if premarital counseling could help. Has anyone done this and does it help? If so if you would not mind recommending someone that would be great and thanks!

Definitely premarital counseling is useful and even important. The counseling can make sure you two have equal ideas whether to have children and what concepts for work. There can be difference of religious practices and family holidays. It is not always planning on how to do these items but often just how decisions will be made.

It also is critical if you may be encountering issues during the engagement. These can just be differences of opinions in wedding planning. They could be areas that often are not addressed by couples until after marriage. But you certainly can get help in counseling to determine what the dynamics could be and whether they are major issues or passing problems.
