I love our All-Clad. The expense with pots and pans is usually worthwhile (cheaper stuff youll end up spending more on anyway with replacements over the years). If you’re concerned about costs for your registry, I’d suggest registering for separates instead of the full set in one item. But also remember a registry is your time to dream!

Mine are the brand Greenlife in a Tiffany blue color! I've had them 2.5 years and they've been great. They were a great price too.

We're doing all clad stainless steel. Yes it is expensive but it is the best. We are registing for each piece individually so that we don't have something crazy expensive and we get exactly what we want

FMIL bought us some Belgique pots and pans from Macy’s. They’re stainless and work really well. She has had her set for 24 years and they still look new. The only bad reviews that I have found about them seem to be from people who used them on high heat which you shouldn’t do. They’re not as fancy as all clad but I love them.

Tools of the Trade nonstick that's designed for Macy's are actually pretty nice. I have had a set for about a year now and have had no issues with them. They're a cheaper option but T-Fal is always a great set to get too that's a little pricier. For pots, I love the Belgique brand.

I've phased out almost everything in favor of enameled cast iron. I know you said you weren't looking for super expensive, but even one versatile piece like a dutch oven is SO NICE to have.

As someone who cooks and hosts a lot I agree with everyone who said All-Clad and also get an enamel Dutch oven such as Le Crusset. The stuff will last forever (plus make cooking easier and more fun)

All-Clad or ScanPan are the best.

We purchased the Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set almost 4 years ago and I LOVE them. They were originally over 400, but we had coupons and it was on sale so we got it for under 200. Good pots and pans make a huge difference in how easy it is to cook things.

I'm also registering for a Lodge cast iron skillet and a Lodge enameled cast iron Dutch oven. I can't justify the price of a Le Cruset for the amount of cooking I do yet, but maybe someday.
