I would look at your contract. It should state in the contract the time frame she will have your photos back to you by. If it is past that date, I would reach out to her right away.

I agree with the previous comments. Check your contract - if it lists a time frame, and that hasn't passed yet, I'd wait until at least the end of the timeframe plus a week grace period before contacting her. If the time has already passed, or if there isn't a time frame listed, it couldn't hurt to check in and ask her if she has an estimate of when you can expect to receive your photos.

Oh thank you! I never thought to look there. I checked her website and didn't find anything. The contract says 8 weeks, so I guess it's not too soon to reach out.

If her contract says 8 weeks, I would reach out now. I feel like 8-12 weeks is typical, but if she agreed to 8, she should stick to that.

Agreed. The contract sets the timeline, and if your photographer is past the timeline outlined it is 100% appropriate to reach out. Most photographers we looked at had a turnaround of 6-8 weeks, but up to 12 weeks is typical. It's not very common for images to take much longer than that.
