Out of state family

Lara, on July 3, 2019 at 7:43 PM Posted in Montana Planning 0 4
I have a lot of family that is out of state. When would be the best time to start contacting hotels for price rates for a large group of guests for my wedding in June of 2020? Also, what is the best wording to use when I contact hotels?

Hey Lara! Have you picked out some hotels in the area that you are planning on contacting?

When you phone them to inquire, mentions that you are getting married in the area and are interested in a hotel block. This means that you can reserve a certain number of rooms for guests at your wedding. As long as they mention that they are one of your guests when they book, they should receive a specific rate that you have previously agreed upon.

Thank you for the information! I honestly had no idea how to go about it. I also so that this site has an inquiry feature for quotes as well so I did utilize that!

Yes! If you are interested in any of the vendors that you find on WeddingWire, you can send an inquiry directly through their profile page! 😃

If you are anywhere near Kalispell/Glacier park, you will want to block rooms NOW. It will fill up fast in this area.
