Hi fellow brides! I just got engaged on September 5th of this year! I’m so excited and beyond blessed to start this next chapter into a lifetime of love, friendship, compassion, principle and adventure with my best friend. I just got our sneak peak engagement photos from our session on Monday from our photographer and wanted to share them with my fellow beautiful brides before Facebook.     These are super beautiful and it’s hard to not take into account what our loved ones think. But they’re stunning! Your dress is really beautiful and you guys seem really happy. Don’t let your mom get to you, if you love them that’s what’s important ❤️

    Um...I guess she might not be use to the more modern engagement shoot styles? That's the only thing I can think of honestly. I told my mom about ours, and she had no idea that people even did engagement photos. I think she's being a little over the top, but it was probably meant to give you what she sees as honest feedback. But also...those pics are gorgeous and so full of life and love. I wouldn't take her comments to heart - she just might be more into the bright and airy editing, while your photographer does gorgeous work with moody and edgy.

    I can maybe agree with mom on number 1 with the heads being chopped off but the picture is still gorgeous! The boobs isn’t really the photographers fault, but I approve. I would say maybe she just doesn’t understand the point of engagement photos. Either way your photos are stunning and you have every right to be happy and love them without her approval!

    That first photo gives me all of the cuddly feels 🥰, the puppy pic is SO cute, and I love that you did both casual and formal outfits! That dark red and the bold lip look so good on you!
