Put In Bay is a great destination, it has a lot of bars but if you go during the daytime it is really nice. They have two wineries there, and you have to travel by boat to get there. There are several ferries available, I would suggest leaving from Port Clinton, Ohio. There are several places to tour as well that are historic and could be fun, like Perry's monument! They have kayak's available to rent on the island and several food places as well with a lot of variety. There is also a beach there. You should rent a golf cart upon your arrival though, it adds to the cost but it makes it fun.

Going to Hocking Hills or Mohican (if you like the outdoors-y stuff) would be nice too.

The ideas you had are not bad! I would love doing something on the river, I'm just unsure of where that type of things would be available. If you were to go to Cleveland, I'm sure you could do that as well.

I originally had picked Put-in-bay, but they shut down after Labor Day. My bachelorette party is scheduled for Sept 28th. I guess since it's out of season, everyone there packs up and leaves! I have a friend who has a cabin up there so we were hoping to stay there for the weekend but now I need to look into other options.

Cincinatti had those paddle bar tour thingies... I don't know the proper name for it. But one of the companies is branching out to the river and will be offering the same service on small boats! I thought that would be neat. I like the nightlife too. Maybe Howl At The Moon too? I'm really overthinking it, but all the girls in my party are not financially set to blow a bunch of money, so that worries me. The girl I asked to be my MOH is going through a rough time and two of my other girls are expecting babies this summer. I didn't really think it through so hopefully everything works out. I'm considering not having any pre-wedding events just to save everyone the trouble. Because that's what it feels like sometimes...
