1) Hire a day of coordinator - my day was wonderful and I am pretty sure she played a role in making sure I heard nothing
2) The cake doesn’t matter - don’t go broke for it, we got sheet cake from our local grocery store for our guests and they loved it and we had a two tier cake and didn’t eat it because we didn’t have time. In total we spent $300 on cake for 200 people
3) A good DJ matters - ours was great and really knew how to get the crowd on the dance floor. We played awesome games that our guests loved! 4) I should actually put this as number 1, have your bridesmaids practice with your bustle!!!! Mine didn’t and they spent/wasted an hour on mine because it was so complicated. It was so bad even my photographer had to step in help. Also the longer the train the harder the bustle.
