Showers without alcohol are soooo painful. Any way your host will budge on that? It’s the only thing that makes the silly games and small talk bearable.

No games OR alcohol? Count me out.

I'd definitely talk to your host and see if they'll allow something. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of women talking and watching you open a ton of gifts.

This is something to let your host worry about. The best part of being the bride at the shower is that you just have to show up!

I 2nd this. Otherwise it might be a bit awkward. Especially if the guests don't know each other.

What do you consider a game? I didn’t really want any games either, but my MOH and mom made a cute poster board with all old photos of me and through out the party people guessed how old I was in each photo.

Mine had just wine, lunch/meal, and coffee & cake/dessert.

The only "game" was the guests writing advice for me on wooden spoons. A few of them were shared / read by my MOH.

Then it was mostly me opening presents.

The whole thing was maybe 3 hours long. It was really nice & classy

That doesn't leave much to do besides sit around and talk. Which can be fine if everyone knows each other. There are games that aren't too "gamey" if that make sense. I saw one where you have everyone write down a memory with you and then you read them and guess who the memory is with.

Off topic but my friend did the who has the groom one at her bridal shower. The groom envelope went missing. We all opened ours up and no one had him! To this day we still don't know what happened with it. It was pretty funny.

Sneak some of those little sample bottles to the rest of the guests to mix in their drinks! It sounds like they may need it. Not trying to say anyone is a killjoy, but sometimes things get awkward when someone can't be themselves because of someone being conservative.

Anyway, you can look on Pinterest or Etsy for some fun little games or activities. I don't know what the host is doing as far as the shower goes, but I would treat it like a BBQ with the family. Have some food, chat, and generally let it be laid back. For games, I've seen things like guessing how well people know the bride, pin the viel on the bride (not literally!), the ring game where you can't say "bride" or something and if you do, the person that calls you out gets your ring, wedding related scavenger hunt (this is pretty much the most fun out of this list tbh), guess who bride or groom, what's in your purse, and toilet paper wedding dress contest. Hope that helps!

You can do like Jeopardy to see you knows the bride the best and the one who gets the most points gets a prize. Another one could be the "ring" game. Buy a bag of cheap kid play rings and no one is allowed to say bride or whatever word you like for the entire bridal shower, at the end before anyone is about to leave see who has the most ring and reward them with a gift card for coffee or something else as a prize.
