Hello all. I realize that I may be wanting the impossible, but I figured I’d ask just in case. Does anyone know of a spot in New Orleans near the French Quarter or the Central Business District (like a community center or cheap event space where we can take a quick uber or the streetcar) that would allow us to host a rehearsal dinner and bring in our own food and drinks? I want the rehearsal dinner to be low key with down home soul food (or country cooking) — nothing fancy at all. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thank you!

That might be tough to find!!
I'm not sure if these met all of your criteria, but they sound like good places to look into: Mystere Mansion, The Roadhouse at Creole Gardens, Panache, The Tigermen Den, New Orleans Jazz Market, and St. James Cheese Company. I'd also reach out to Bed and Breakfasts and see if they could accommodate you!

The Press Street Station at the NOCCA Institute is a good spot!
