Hey all you beautiful people,

We got married 6.26.21! I sent out the marriage license and form to get my certificates but what do I next? Everywhere I look into about what to do to change my name has so many different things in different orders.

Hi Brittney! First things first you need to wait until your marriage certificate is ready - and get several certified copies!! Then you'll be ready to begin the name change process, which always starts with Social Security (regardless of what state you live in!)
