Nashville Bachelorettes

Hi guys not sure if this is appropriate or not. But, I wanted to share.
I know Nashville has become one of the top destinations for bachelorette parties. I saw a few posts over the summer about people making plans. As I’m sure most of you know there was a bomb explosion on Christmas Day downtown. The entire road of popular bars has been destroyed. I felt like I wanted to post here because I was reading some comments Facebook and someone said that nonlocal news casts have made it out to be a building fire. It is not, buildings are completely destroyed. I have not personally seen the damage, but know people that have.
Now I’m not saying don’t come. But, if you do decide to come please know that our city is not what it was a year ago. Between the tornado in March, covid, and now this bomb we have rebuilding to do.

    I'm in Maryland and it definitely hit news outlets everywhere here. Never once did I hear that it was a building fire, they definitely have been showing that it was a bomb! I've also seen videos and pictures, it does look horrible 😥

    Same in NY. So many articles about the binging and the suspect. Definitely no reports of just fires.

    Oh wow, that was horrific! I was interested in going to Tennessee, but was looking at pigeon forge.

    Ok. Thanks for letting me know. I assumed it wasn’t being reported correctly, but when I saw that comment I was shocked that they would be down playing it. And my mind jumped to all the people that might be traveling here and if they showed up and it wasn’t what they thought.

    That’s about 4 hrs from Nashville. It would Be fine to visit there.
    It’s lots of fun with shopping, mini golf, go carts. Although I’m not sure what’s operating at the moment with covid.

    Heard about it here in France too. Definitely understood that it was a bomb. I hope that the city is able to recover quickly.
