Someone recommended that I take advantage of one of these combined registry options such as MyRegistry after creating traditional registries and link that to my wedding website, but I believe that Williams Sonoma told me that you don’t get the same perks using a unified registry. Can someone verify?

I used myregistry and it was great. I still got the perks from the websites like Macy’s, etc since I created a wedding registry there and then linked it to myregistry.

I haven’t heard if that. I used Honeyfund and it linked out fine to Macy’s & BBB.

I never understood the benefit of those types of registries. You only get the store benefits if you sign up directly with them. The universal registry just takes you directly to the store registry anyway.
