So I just had my Bridal Shower this weekend! And it turned out way better than I thought!
My shower was "succulent/garden" themed, so everyone got to make their own succulent terrarium and it was a hit! That food was a taco bar, made by my MIL, and it was all hosted at her house and backyard. Everyone looked like they were having a great time, and socializing! Most of my family and friends haven't really spent time with my FH's family, so I'm sooo glad they all got along! Also, opening the presents was so fun!
Just a few quick tips: Make sure there is enough help when setting up all the little decor and things that you want! Maybe make a detailed list of everything so people know what they're doing lol. I didn't do this, so I ended up having to help A LOT with setting up the tables, signs, games/activity table, even though we had 3 other people helping. It just seemed like they didn't know where I wanted everything, and didn't have clear direction, so I had to step in and figure that out. Wish I planned that out better lol. But lesson learned, I will for sure have a detailed list and assign people jobs for the wedding day!
Here are a few pics I got so far, taken by my family member:
