    I kept my maiden name!
I actually have a coworker who didn’t change her last name til ten years of marriage aha so if you decide later to change it, it’s ok too

I am planning to keep my name! I agree with the previous comment that you can always change it later if you are undecided now.

I switched my maiden name to my middle name. I still have it but I really wanted to take my husband’s last name. It makes me feel more like a unit and I want to have the same last name as my future kids.

I'm doing all 4 names... Same as hyphenating without the hyphen. Smiley smile

My mom kept her maiden name for professional reasons but everyone calls her by my dad's last name (and that's what she is on Facebook, etc). I'll be taking FHs name. Even though I'll miss my last name and it's connection to my ethnicity, I want to have one family name for me and him and my kids. Two become one!

I kept my name. I like it, there aren't any boys in my family, and DH and I are both in the arts.

...Also, MIL kept her name and would have been really disappointed if I hadn't!

Ultimately, though, it's how you feel. You could keep your name, change it, hyphenate it, have your husband change his name, or come up with a completely new one.

I love the modern idea of moving a maiden name to your middle name. But I kept my maiden name.

I'm taking his last name. I have no significant attachment to my maiden name.

I kept my name. My mom also kept her name when she married, but changed it halfway through to my dads last name.

So being from a family where all my siblings(6) don’t have the same last name, it’s really important to me that all my children have a same last name as me. It just makes us more of a family unit. Also, makes things easier in the long run. I also don’t really have a connection to my maiden name. One of my sisters put her maiden name as her middle name, but now her name doesn’t flow as well and I think she wishes she had her original name.... also her initials are now PEE😂 didn’t think that through. Anyway, at the end of the day it’s completely up to you! Do what makes the most sense to you 🙂 good news is you can always change your mind later

I'll be taking my FH's last name. I always thought I'd keep mine but too many years later and mispronunciations and being called by my last name versus first has finally gotten to me. There's also the fact that my mom and I have the same name (except middle) - causes quite a bit of confusion. LOL...

I will be taking my FWs last name. I have no attachments to my name and her family is all girls so it is important to her to carry on the family name.

I'm taking my fiance's name but I'm going to hyphenate my middle name and maiden name because I want to have it somewhere, but FH has a long last name

I hyphenated my name. There are no men in my family, I love my last name and my grandpa is the greatest man in the world, there was no way I was just dropping my maiden name.
