The morning started with some catered breakfast from cracker Barrell and homemade mimosas! HMUAs arrived at 11:30, they were done by 3:00 and saved me for last so my hair and make-up can last me. They were extremely great!
The photographer arrived at 12:15 and was with me from then on until 9:30pm. He's known my husband (woh lol) for some time and he's also a pro, he went above and beyond! Extremely professional, friendly and stress free, he was keeping me calm!! Lol because it began thundering and I freaked out a bit. Overall it was a calm morning, we literally sat in PJs watching movies and eating chips and pizza while hair and make-up was going haha. Just about everything went according to the timeline with a few hiccups here and there but I paid it no mind.
I don't think there was a dry eye in the room, everyone kept telling us how beautiful it was and how they've never felt so much emotion and energy at a wedding like ours. Even our photographer said he's never cried so much lol.
We heard guests raving about the food, I barely got to eat lol and enjoying the consumption bar. We had the tab running for two hours, which got us to $300. That was getting keep to our budget right there since our DJ who's a friend was free but we definitely have him a monetary thank you night of, and when hubby's aunt heard it was closing down soon she picked up the entire tab until the rest of the night! We were in shock and so thankful!
Also the venue gifted us the toasting cider! I was overwhelmed with emotions and I was barely nervous, I just had so much emotion with everything going on. Our vendors telling me how great our guests were and how we were such an easy group. The bartenders told me more than once how kind and polite out guests were. and the Tip jar I made for the venue in which I shared in a previous post and got some backlash for from some... It was a HIT!
We had about 5 no shows but that's ok everyone else showed up and kept telling us how great of a time they had. I had a dance with my sister and hubby with his mom. We will get pro pics in 30 days but here's a few from cellphones and 1 sneak peak!
