Is this dress to extravagant for bridal shower?

I found this dress at a resale shop and fell in love with it and decided to use it for my bridal shower party which is in a few months. I still love the dress but when I’ve shown a couple of people it their expressions made me feel a little self conscious in it as if it might be too extravagant for the bridal shower and I’ve been second guessing. But I know someone who has worn a homecoming dress for their bridal shower so I don’t know. 😞 What do you think is it too much for the bridal shower? We’re doing mimosa bar, a build your own taco bowl station, and games. I still would need to get some alterations done to it as well.
