Is this dress appropriate for spring engagement photos?

I think it's a beautiful dress! You could always put FH in a matching more spring color like a light blue or blush if you want it to be more spring-y

Beautiful dress! I bought a similar navy wrap dress for our fall engagement photos. I think this would totally work for spring, and like the PP's suggestion for your FH!

You could add some flowers to your hair and pair it with a nude sandal.

The dress is beautiful, like pp have stated have FH coordinate in spring colors or maybe give yourself some spring accents in you hair or even flowers?

Absolutely! I think it looks great on you too!

You will look outstanding if your local area has spring flowers or flowering trees about. Or an annual flower show or a market area that is colorful. Use your imagination. Navy is a classic spring color because it contrasts nicely with bright pops of color, without being overly bright and distracting from facial expressions. Great for pictures, better than white for a lot of people. Make great pictures!
