Hello, dear forum members!

I recently got married and now I need to translate my marriage certificate for job applications. Does anyone have experience in this matter? What are the requirements for the translation? Does the translation need to be notarized or is it enough to just have it translated by a certified translator?
Also curious to know what other documents may be needed for the job if they are family related. Any advice and recommendations would be appreciated!Thank you!

Congratulations for your marriage. I wish you best of luck for your future life. For marriage certificate translation you should consult with some professionals who are experts in translation and provide certified translation. You can find certified translators from online sites.

All translations fully complied with legal requirements, which is especially important for official procedures. We asked for help in obtaining a work visa, and all documents were prepared perfectly. This greatly simplified the application and eliminated possible errors. Special thanks for the accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism.

Hopefully Naumi has gotten the proper translations done and is finding work. The primary requirements for certified translations should only be necessary for identity papers such as birth certificates and marriage licenses (maybe divorce papers, if applicable). Then it should be possible to get the work permits/visas needed, which will be in English. If you need other translations, they should be able to be done more casually for job interviews, unless you find some special documents that may be more critical than, for example, written endorsements of your work experience.

Congratulations on your recent nuptials. A licensed translator is typically required to translate your marriage certificate. Some employers may also need notarization, albeit this varies by job or firm. Regarding other family-related paperwork, it's always a good idea to check with the employer directly to ensure that everything is in order. I hope this helps.
