How long do people wait to buy gifts off the registry?

A lot of people will wait until the week of your wedding. Some will even buy you gifts after. You may also get a lot of gifts (not on your registry) or cash cards at your wedding.

Do you have enough $10-$50 items? Some people may want to buy several smaller items or perhaps your list has too many $100+ items?

Do you have a bridal shower? Usually, that's when people buy off the registry. I don't know of many people who purchase off a registry for the wedding, unless they specifically asked for registry information.

Based on my registry website 20/75 gifts have been purchased ! my shower is in four weeks and wedding in 6 weeks. some people still wont use the registry and buy a gift off registry or something they think is more personal: someone gave me a brazilian cookbook , garlic mincer, and bamboo cutting board since my fh is Brazilian and wrote a beautiful note on the inside cover.

I actually have only like 5 $100 and up items, everything else it lower priced... and ok that makes sense thank you

I actually had 2 one for family and one for work/friends not alot of people came to either I included the registry information with all my invites to both the showers and the wedding jic

Most people bought stuff off registry the week before our wedding. But about half of guests brought different gifts or cash to the wedding. You're still 30 days out...close for you guys but far away for your guests. lol.

Why do you have 3 lists with all the same items? If you have more than one registry, you're supposed to put different types of items on each. Maybe the problem is you don't have enough variety. If someone sees you registered for the same towels at both target and bed bath & beyond, and see that someone else has purchased them for you at one store, of course they're not going to buy it for you at the other store. They're going to see someone else has bought it, and not want to repeat the gift.

If you just registered for the same thing over and over again, with the intention of returning everything for cash, that's really not cool. I'd go back and delete some duplicates, and add some more variety, in lower price points.

They actually told me at BBB to do it that way. Their reasoning was some people will shop the registries to see which has the better price and go from there... as for price points I have more on the lower end than the middle or high.
