How long did it take for your Fiance or Husband to propose to you after becoming a couple? Where did he propose to you at, and what exactly did he do;

My Fiance Immediately let me know from the onset of committing to each other, that he definitely wanted to walk me down the Aisle. He continued everyday to confess his love and admiration for me, and reassured me that we will be together for the rest of our lives.

    Too long, lol.
Naw for real, God’s timing is perfect 3+ years. He proposed on our first international trip together, in the Dominican.

We met in early December 2016 (Bumble!), we were official sometime in January 2017 (I never did keep track of anniversaries like that...) and we were engaged 11/17/17. We started talking seriously about it in October 2017 and looked at rings together a couple of times. He took me to a restaurant with a private table. I sorta knew it was happening but he was so cute! We went on our last "single person" date last Saturday at the same restaurant!

We are getting married this Saturday 12/1/18!

We got engaged around 2.5 years after we started dating. He planned a girls day for me (though I didn't realize he was behind it). I had brunch with my friends then we played board games at her house where she kept refilling my drinks and got me super tipsy.

Long story short, my FH showed up in a police uniform and told me to go sit on the couch. I was just like, "oh, it's you". I didn't think twice about him dressed up, he does weird things for a laugh. Then he yelled at me, "I SAID SIT DOWN!" He's never yelled at me, so I listened.

He then performed a striptease to Tainted Love while feeding me Canadian chocolates. he finished by pouring maple syrup down his chest (he's Canadian) and got down on one knee, pulled a ring box from his undies and popped the question. It was awesome!

Strangely enough neither of us wanted a new anniversary! The one thing that is kind of a bummer is that ironically it would have been cheaper and easier to have a summer wedding because there are so many outdoor option available during the summer!

We began dating in November of 2014. In November of 2017 he brought me to the place that we had our first date and proposed. We ended up getting married a little before our four year anniversary.

We had it scheduled for our 6th anniversary, but right now I am sooo grateful we decided 5th would be better, and now it is less than 2 months away!!! Smiley heart Honestly, we are struggling a little because of how quick we planned everything!

First started dating on April 3, 2013. After accepting we just would never be married lol my best friend **finally* (LOL) proposed in our home on Sunday morning July 29, 2018 after we woke up before getting ready for church. He pretty much jumped out of bed and walked out of our bedroom. I’m just like “huh. Kind of weird. Whatever. Maybe he just really had to pee”. Then he almost sprints back into the bedroom and very quickly slips his entire hand and arm underneath my pillow and gives me this huge kiss. Immediately pulls out his arm and hand from underneath my pillow and shows me the ring and asks “..want to spend the rest for your life with me?” Of course I said “yes” 😍💕 and was honestly still in a bit of shock for a few days after. Lmao. Luckily I already had a mani/pedi. 😊 it wasn’t the proposal “experience” nor time frame I was initially dreaming about/thought I wanted. However everything happens for a reason and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. This means more to me than a romantic getaway anywhere and I’m SO beyond excited to marry the love of my life in Oct 2019. 🥰💍💒💕

Thats soo exciting! I am four months out! I honestly think, there is never a PERFECT time for all of this.. We are in a long distance relationship so after the wedding I will be moving an hour away from home, we are buying a house at the end of January and then the wedding is in March.. There is so much going on and I know we are going to struggle too but we'll get through it together and come out even stronger! You got this!

Is everything almost done for the wedding?

We officially became a couple in April of 2016 and he proposed two years later on our anniversary. He took me to a lake under the guise of a hike (one of our favorite things to do). Although it was expected as we were both dating with the intention to marry, he still managed to surprise me when he ended up popping the question.

Yes and no.... I have what I call my "forever" ToDo list... It seems as soon as we cross one thing off another 2 come up! So all the major things (except cake) are done, but I am doing sheet cake and a fancier cake cutting cake, so cake really isn't a big deal. Right now we are waiting for RSVPs and so far out of 126 invitations we have received 26, but our cut off date isn't until December 20th, so I am hoping for a lot of responses between now and then! Once the RSVPs are in the next big thing is to do the seating chart and make the place cards! I have small things break in shoes, steam veil, finish paying vendors by due date (etc.)! Total there is 53 ask me in a week and it will probably be 56!

Congrats on getting the house! That is a super exciting and big step too! Enjoy that time!! It is a lot of fun! We have been in our house for 3 years, and it has been a wonderful experience furnishing it and making it ours!!

We met in high school, started dating October 12, 2007. We got engaged July 8, 2016! I waited almost 10 years for that dang ring, but he made the wait worth it!Smiley love

My fiance, Alex, enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 25. He left for basic training a month after, and we had limited communication for two months--only through letters and a couple phone calls. I flew down to Texas for his basic training graduation. His family traveled a few days prior to visit some family. On our second day of being there visiting Alex, we attended his graduation parade. After we watched, we had to go tap out our airman. When I finally found him in the crowd, we hugged and kissed and he got down on his knee, while a few of his new airmen friends made a hole (circle) around us. He proposed and I was SO surprised! He planned everything out through letters home to his mom, who went to pick up the ring he picked out before leaving, and brought it down to Texas so he could propose. He even called my parents on the first day we saw him so he could ask for their blessing. It was amazing, and it is a proposal story I always dreamed of!

We will get married next year, September 28, 2019! So by the time of our wedding, we will be celebrating almost TWELVE YEARS together!Smiley heart

OMG!! How many guests does your venue hold? We are inviting about 150 (65 invites) and I am praying all do not show! I HATE being the center of attention.. Lately I've had to tell myself i'm really just hosting a big dinner party lol..

And yeah I thinks thats just how some lists work.. I have multiple.. and I feel like I havent crossed any off! Smiley sad But I will get there over time!

And with the house thats what I look forward to the most! I wanted so bad to buy things during black Friday but I have to wait till I can actually plan out what I want. Smiley smile

Ugh our venue is a ballroom in a Casino/Hotel and it can hold (i think like 1000 people), but they are putting up partitions to make the room smaller for us, and we invited 300 (~200 is family [Immediate Family, Aunts/Uncles, Cousin on both our Mom's Side but not our dad's sides], and the rest are friends. We went by the rule for friends have we talked to them in a year and how close are we, and still ended up with a large number because our community is small and every body knows every body, so our circles were hard to cut. We also have a horseshoe family that FH grew up with and a softball family where we see (husbands, wives, children, and ever grand children of players) weekly, and it is a little community in itself. It was really really hard for us to narrow down our guest list!

We are sort of hoping some people don't show, and I thought I would be celebrating our declines, but so far the 2 that we have received has made me really sad! (And 1 of them I am not that close with!) The plus ones were the killer, and I am just hoping that people who are single since every body knows every body don't bring plus ones!
