Welp that seems kinda pointless, I’m not trying to spend 40 bucks for papers I’ll get at the offices anyways 😂

Yep. You pretty much pay for paper that s free online or in each office. You still have to do all the work to have everything changed.

Yeah, it's such a scam lol. They charge a fee for something you can do for free!

Not worth it. You can do it for free and it’s pretty easy just very time consuming.
    1st: get your marriage license
2nd: social security office Rest 😂 3rd:drivers license office (after your new social security card comes in)4th-100th: let everyone else know! Work, banks, passport.

Nope, no need to. Court house to get our marriage license took like 15 minutes Mx Social security office took me maybe 30 minutes.
I made an appointment for DMV and that look about 30 minutes as well.
With hitch switch you still have to endure the pain (unless you prefer to mail in your documents to the social security administration) but why pay the money for the forms which are free?

I can (first-hand) tell you, DO NOT DO IT. It's such a waste... And that's coming from someone who has spent $40 on many dumb things. 😂

That’s the thing- it’s Very time consuming. I don’t have that time. I recently got married on March 8- and now everything is closed- so I have to mail everything. You would think since we are quarantined I’d have time. lol no. I’m a nurse and work quite a bit and am just exhausted. From life, work, wedding planning, wedding and honeymoon. So I paid for hitch switch, and gathered my documents together and mailed out in the envelopes with postage - and now all I have to do is wait. 😆
