It is only BAD when he is on his back. I just tap him on his shoulder and he turns to his side. It is pretty annoying, though.

Ear plugs! I’m the one that snores sometimes and it hurts my feelings if they leave the room or make me feel guilty about something out of my control. I would suggest ear plugs.

Ear plugs, gently rolling H over, and a bedroom humidifier are the things that work for us. H only snores when he's stuffed up or a little more stressed than usual, so the humidifier helps with allergies and dryness that can cause congestion, and also has the added bonus of being like a bit of a white noise machine. as PPs have said you might want to consider him seeing a doctor to find out if there are any more serious issues--apnea especially is an important one to look into.

I did the same exact thing !! His snoring is so bad some weeks I feel like I can not sleep at all!! I can’t wait for him to get his CPAP!! Also if his snoring is as bad as my fiancé’s is I suggest telling him to go to a doctor, sleep apnea is no joke and is dangerous!

Does he have sleep apnea? My FH was snoring terribly, especially when laying on his back. We both started working out together and dieting, he's lost about 20 lbs and almost never snores now!

If his snoring is really bad, I would make him a doctor appointment, because it is actually very dangerous and can damage his heart in the long run.

I'm a heavy sleeper so I just fall asleep before it gets to its loudest. If I'm still awake by the time he gets real loud then I tell him to shush and that usually stops it for a minute lol

Ex-H with his snoring I would tell him "flip" and he'd roll on his side in his sleep. I would also use "pretty in pink" earplugs and they work wonders! (They're a little smaller than other earplugs and don't hurt my ears as much. If the pain is too much I will take them out in my sleep.)

Come to find out, I'm the one with sleep apnea. I've been using my machine for over a year and won't even nap without it. When I do nap without my machine my snoring is HORRIBLE regardless of my position. FH finds the breathing noise from my mask soothing to fall asleep to. FH is a light snorer and I just ride it out since it's so infrequent and I can't find a pattern to it yet.

I'm actually the snorer and its really bad. Sometimes I wake myself up but most nights he goes to sleep before me so that it doesn't bother him.

We both snore a little depending on the position we are in. Neither of us has sleep apnea. If it gets bad we just give each other a nudge and suggest a position change. LOL

My FH snores and he did get a machine. Only problem is that the mask sometimes leaves pressure blisters on his face. So most nights he sleeps in the other part of our bedroom. Our bedroom is set up like a L shaped suite so we set him up a bed in the other part of the room. Hes only 6 ft away but there is a wall between the beds.
