Florida/alabama Gulf Coast Bachelorette Weekend

I am looking for potential places to spend the weekend for my bachelorette party. I don't want anything too wild, but would love to have a few local hot spots for dancing and a few drinks. I have looked into PCB, but haven't made up my mind. I appreciate any suggestions. I want to stay in the panhandle area of Florida if possible.

I personally prefer Destin area or Santa Rosa over PCB. PCB draws a younger, crazier crowd IMO while Destin and Santa Rosa have good nightlife and good food but without the excess of PCB.
Santa Rosa is probably more tame than Destin, but it's not like they are all that far apart really. Also, beaches are really nice and less crowded.

We had mine in Destin and it was a blast! We had our own beach house (not in a resort) but went to the big Sandestin resort at night. They have super fun bars and chill places too!

I went with my family on vacation in PCB during summertime (late July) and loved it. It was touristy but not too crowded - and it helps that you're not going at spring break time. However I have also heard wonderful things about Destin!
We've also vacationed in Pensacola Beach right near the Alabama border - but it was kind of deserted (at least when we went) and I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for easy access to nightlife. It's nice if you want the beach to yourself though.
