We are doing a separate ceremony and then reception at a later date. My dress won’t be ready for the ceremony, so I’ll probably have to do two dresses. Idk if my fiancé wants to a “first look” and I’m still debating on it. Yours look super cute and I love your partners reaction.

Oh my gosh, these pictures are so beautiful!! I totally agree with you about the first look - my husband and I did a first look, and it was one of my favorite memories of our wedding day!

Definitely one regret i have from our wedding day! H was adamant on having the walking down the aisle moment, but looking back we both wish we would have carved out a little alone time BEFORE the ceremony to get some pictures and enjoy

I loved our first look! It was just time for the two of us to get our emotions out and chat about how good each other looked without having to move it along the next second for the ceremony to start.


We also lived together for years before marriage, but spent the night separately, so it was just really nice to get that alone time pre-guests arriving with my love. Overall, I feel it calmed my nerves for the whole day, too!

I am having mixed feelings about doing a first look and not doing it. Part of me wants to do a first look and the other part of me says wait and let him see me coming down the aisle .
