We run a queer wedding marketplace (Queerly Beloved) so having our wedding be full of fabulousness, glitter, and community was extremely important to us. We gave up most traditions and opened our ceremony with a queer blessing honoring our queer ancestors that fought for our rights to exist. Instead of parent dances, we did shots of Fireball with our moms, food was from Chipotle, we had an axe throwing truck for cocktail hour because I competitively throw axes, had a drag queen MC the reception, and told our guests to dress as their most fabulous selves and they didn’t disappoint. These are just our previews but I can’t wait to see the rest.
These are my four favorites...the captured the scope of the wedding and our great venue. I love the last shot because it isn't a professional photo, but capture the excitement of the moment as my husband and I bid our guests farewell!
