Favorite brands/stores?

We are not doing a registry but our favorite stores to shop these are Target, Overstock, Lowe's.

I love Bed, Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s. They have almost everything.

Daughter wanted thick, absorbent towels at a reasonable price. She looked at tons of options and finally settled on Kohl's Simply Vera Wang Signature towels. It's been three years and they've held up well. Like all things at Kohl's they go on sale frequently and especially with a good coupon they can be quite reasonable. She's been similarly happy with Kohl's Celeste Home 610-thread count all cotton sheets. They have deep pockets, so they work well on a thick mattress. Again, with sales/coupons, they can be fairly reasonable for good quality. Unfortunately, Kohl's did away with their registry after daughter's wedding, but they'd still be her 1st choice.

Hotel Collection towels (Macy’s). Love them. Our dishes from The Cellar (Macy’s) still look great after 4 years!

Very unpopular opinion but Marshalls!! Can find so many good deals on quality brands & they have absolutely anything you could need

For brands, Kitchenaid makes by far the best mixer I have used. That is one item I know will be on our list.



I am not sure yet which places we will register but probably Bed, Bath, & Beyond and one other store. Maybe Amazon?? BB&B has great customer service and easy returns, in my experience. That is a big reason why I want to use them. Also, they take expired coupons so you can easily get 20% off on a purchase since they mail those a lot.

Don't skimp on your bath towels or kitchen knives. If you ask me there is nothing worse than cheap towels and knives. These are items used everyday and so worth their cost. There are a lot of different brands of knives, find the brand that feels the best and then make sure to get that brand at a good quality store. For example I know Hinkle knives are very popular, but that brand has a few different levels of quality.

Stores I like for kitchen products is Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table, Macys, Crate & Barrel

COSTCO. All of it is at COSTCO. The Kirkland brand (their brand) is great!

Great question! I'm not sure if they have a registry. We are doing all cash fund registry so I never looked into it but Costco is where we get our every day life stuff like you listed above

Bed bath and beyond has the Salt brand. I love their towels, for kitchen and bath.

I do love Bed, Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s . I love Kohls. It always made sense to me. You spend $50 and get $10 KC. You spend the $10 KC. You return something you bought with the original $50 purchase (or, you exchange, but your new style is less expensive or now on sale). Either way, it knocks you below the $50 so you no longer earned the Kohls cash. They are going to deduct it. Though I read different reviews on https://kohls.pissedconsumer.com/review.html . Thoughts differ
