Most definitely! It didn’t hit me until the day of our wedding. It seems like I was so busy with all the planning & juggling the weeks leading up to the wedding, that I didn’t have time to get the jitters. We get to the venue & than I thought “what if he doesn’t show? What if he changed his mind?” I had so many crazy thoughts in my head! At the venue, our rooms that we were getting ready in were next to each other. We wanted the first time he saw me was walking down the aisle. Our photographer opened the doors & had us hold hands outside of the doors but we couldn’t see each other. It wasn’t until I touched his hand that my nerves calmed down!

You might not get cold feet at all! I was nervous on the day of the wedding, but that’s because I planned everything myself without a wedding planner or day-of coordinator and I wasn’t sure I could pull it off. I was never nervous about the actually marriage though. I hope you’ll be the same way!

Yes, everything went really well! My wedding was at the very beginning of covid so I had everything planned for a big wedding and had to downsize a lot because I didn’t want to postpone it. We originally planned a large ballroom wedding and I had already had the venue booked for 6 months when everything shut down. It was hard to replan everything when the original version was going to be so perfect. But it ended up being perfect in a different way! Don’t stress too much and just enjoy this period in your life. Your engagement will only last a few more months but your marriage will last forever! ❤️

Our dressing rooms at the venue were next to one another. We planned our wedding so that I would be the first person he saw when he arrived. The photographer opened the happy wheels game doors and had us stand with our backs to each other, holding hands outdoors. Until I held his hand, I couldn't relax.
