Hello! I am needing some suggestions for my upcoming engagement photos. First off I am plus size and I am not sure what I should wear. I would like to wear things that are complimenting and know what to stay away from. We are getting them done towards the end of March and we are in Texas, so it will be warm but not to warm. Tips, and or outfit ideas? Also, my photographer is asking what type of shoot we want and I am needing some ideas. I want something unique and not cliche. Some things I would like to incorporate is our love for football, and fall. Seeing as how the photos are in the spring not sure how to do that. We really enjoy watching sports and traveling together if that helps. I am not very good at being creative with this kind of stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

An off the spoidłem dress with a little bit of ruffles looks so feminine and flirty. That’s what I wore for mine and I received many compliments.

If you are planning on using these photos for save the dates make sure you are your Fiancé wear similar colors in shade. Either both darker or both lighter. It is a pain to put words over photos when you can’t read white letter over one shirt and black letters over another shirt. The best thing to do is go on Pinterest and find photos that you love and can recreate easily. It helps picking poses you are more comfortable with. There are also a lot of posing guides for us bigger gals who need to stick their head out a different way to not get a big double chin in the photo. Check out all these Pinterest tutorials and posing guides they are super helpful!!

I’m also a plus size girl, yet to do engagement photos and living in Arizona lol. I also wanted to do something fall as well because my wedding is in September and I thought of wearing a flowing black dress and taking pictures in the desert or creating a backdrop. As for football, I don’t know if they will allow you but you could wear your teams jerseys and go to your high school or colleges football field and take cute pictures there.
