Engagement Pictures

Congratulations!! And our wedding is November 2020 and I just recently took my engagement pictures, I want to use them for our save the dates, and it’s the reason why I did them a year in advance... also I wanted fall pictures and waited until fall.. honestly it’s up to you and what you guys want, I would advice don’t wait to close to the wedding, it will be a lot to handle!! You can literally take them any time that you’re engaged. There’s no timeline.

Whenever you have time! My FH and I took them last year and we are not getting married until June 2020, so there is really no rule for when you should take them!

Absolutely up to you. If you want to use them as your save the dates though, I would start working on that so you can get them back in time to order the save the dates.

We got engaged in February and got ours done in June. Our wedding is June 6, 2020. We had ours done early because our photographer was pregnant at the time and is taking some time off before our wedding. Also I’m making a photo guest book with our engagement photos in it so I wanted plenty of time to create it.


Engagement photos can be done at any time! Have you booked your wedding photographer yet? Sometimes an engagement photo session is apart of a package deal.
