Engagement pictures in the cold?

Maybe try to keep the amount of time outside as short as possible? They also make super thin long underwear that you could put underneath! It was a lifesaver when I had my horse and was outside for hours in the winter (and not bulky at all under clothes). We were supposed to have our engagement pictures this weekend too, but I’ve been so sick with upper respiratory stuff being out in the cold is not an option so we ended up cancelling. Hopefully you figure it out!

I am taking my engagement pictures on Saturday at sunset. So I am going to be freezing. I choose jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and over the knee boots. I am also now thinking about maybe wearing a hat and scarf that would match. Maybe you could find a cute coat, or hat and scarf set to match.

Look for under armor and like ski layers. 32 Degrees makes amazing thermal shirts. They are super thin but they’re totally insulating and keep you sooo warm. You can order on amazon... if you have prime it’ll be there by this weekend!

Fleece lined leggings are a life saver! I've purchased them off Amazon previously.

How cold are we talking? It was a little chilly during mine, but honestly, I had my outfits picked out and I refused to change them lol. So I just sucked it up and threw my jacked on during our walks from place to place. It’s not a super long time and with editing and the amount of photos that are taken, I promise, no one will ever know you are a little cold. So I would just wear whatever you have planned and bring a jacket you can put on in between shots.

I did mine this past weekend and it was pretty chilly. I brought a big blanket to wrap up in while we we're moving to a new location or in between shots. I also probably drank a gallon of hot coffee to warm my insides.
